Mohammed reclaimed its place as the most popular name for baby boys born in England and Wales in 2011 – convincingly ahead of Harry, in second place, according to data released by the government this week.
The government declared that Harry was the most popular boy’s name, but if you add up the five most popular different spellings of Mohammed, it heads the list. What has the world come to? This is a tragedy, when are englishmen going to wake up??!
When I tell people “guess what the most popular name in Britain is”, and say it’s Mohammad, they give a deer in headlights look. It’ almost unbelievable that Britain is that far gone. The average American probably still thinks Britain is 85% white.
Well it does have a nice ring to it. I named both my pet pot belly pig and my dog “mohammed”.
