Portland Police Arrest 2 After Robbery at NE MAX Platform
Portland Police Bureau– 02/22/12 Tip of the Iceberg – Blacks think MAX was invented so they could rob whites.
On Tuesday February 21, 2012, at 11:16 p.m., Transit Police officers responded to the report of a robbery on the MAX platform at Northeast 7th Avenue and Holladay Street.
Officers arrived and arrested 25-year-old Aklilu Beyene Girum and 25-year-old Conrad Milow after learning that they harassed and robbed a 34-year-old man. A 26-year-old male witness tried to intervene and was assaulted by the suspects and also robbed.
Robbery detectives are continuing to investigate and will not be releasing victim or witness names or any video at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
Girum and Milow were both charged with Robbery in the Second Degree and were booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
